Auditioning:
I'm interested, what do I do now?
Contact Chris Chan, the organ scholar, to arrange for an informal audition (click here). Alternatively sign up at the Merton Chapel Choir Stall at the Freshers' Fair.
What will I have to do?
Sing any piece of your choice; any style, any genre. Sing a few scales to test your range and a few short sight-reading extracts... Essentially, we want to hear your voice and musical potential to fit our team!
Am I good enough?
If you enjoy singing and have had some form of choral experience or are able to read music then yes! Give it a go. Remember that by organizing an audition you don't have to commit yourself to joining the choir if successful.
I'm still not sure and have more questions?
Contact Chris immediately.
